This was a project I worked on through UC Berkeley's Urban Planning Summer Institute.

We interviewed public transit riders, bicyclists, and pedestrians to assess pain points with the existing conditions. Then we examined the proposed street design that the engineers configured which would dedicate a traffic lane to the bus, which is called a BRT lane. The last iteration of this intersection incorporates my groups design recommendations to achieve a truly multi-modal street.

We presented our findings at an East Oakland community meeting.
